Italian director, she gained recognition with her documentary Un’Ora Sola ti Vorrei (2002), awarded at the Locarno and Torino Film Festivals. In 2005, she directed Per Sempre, a movie about female monastic communities. In 2007, she released Vogliamo Anche le Rose, chronicling fifteen years of women’s emancipation movements. Her 2012 film Tutto Parla di Te won Best Emerging Director at the Rome Film Festival. Her short Confini (2014) reflects on World War I.
